Thoughtful Planning and Execution

Our Story

Founder Gregg Thomas, a seasoned builder with a passion for craftsmanship and design, envisioned a retreat that didn’t just sit on the land—but was shaped by it.

Each structure on the property has been carefully designed to highlight what matters most: the view. Whether you're gazing across Canyon Ferry Lake or watching the sunset stretch across the Big Belt Mountains, every window, wall, and finish is placed with intention—framing the landscape like a piece of living art.

The name “Montana Silos” draws inspiration from the historic silos that still stand near the edge of Townsend, a landmark that has become a symbol of resilience, roots, and rural Montana charm. While our spaces are not repurposed grain silos, the name honors that legacy—anchoring our modern design in the story of this land.
